F1 Testing Begins - Barcelona

And guess whos on top after the first 2 sessions? M Schumacher who makes his return in the F2007. He beat Massa despite not having drove the car before. Although with anything in testing you can only read so much into it as it might have been a promotional stunt by Ferrari. A opt out of retirement? Doubt it. Also in the news was Ross Brawns joining with Honda and Jean Todt leaves Ferrari. I was pretty surprised with Ross i thought he would always be at Ferrari, obviously there was much more than the public knows about the Ferrari story. F1iceman supports banning of fight videos on Youtube

Why do the F1 fans get the bum deal on youtube where as people can see fights (which often include kids) from camera phones to there hearts content. To follow up on this i searched youtube fight which it came up with 4 links to fight videos one being of 2 girls scrapping it out, i really don't see the thrill people get in watching them, that particular video had 31,000 hits!. I suggest in stead of working agianst the fans the FIA/FOM should do as many other big companies have done and form a Youtube account where they can give fans access to F1 video achieves which may help encourage more people to watch the live races... One can always dream. Alonso Offically Leaves Mclaren

So theres a free seat at mclaren next year, This may go to Heikki or Nico (Both of which i rate very highly) as well as others. As for Alonso his best options are talking his way into a BMW seat or go back to renault. Apart from them teams he will be lucky to be in a competitive car next season, Massa having signed another season with Ferrari leaves him no option for a Top team. But would ferrari still try to secure the world champion? I expect all teams would love to have him driving for them. Williams-BMW Investigation appeal by Mclaren

Irritatingly Mclaren are desperate enough to win Lewis the crown through the FIA. The BMW's and Williams are under investigation for fuel temperature being out of range. This would mean if they are disqualified Lewis MIGHT score more points. However if Mclaren win the case Lewis wouldn't nesserery win the extra points and therefore the championship. To be honest with you i don't think Lewis will get his hands on the trophy like this, if the cars are disqualified the points will stay i think. If the unthinkable did happen it would cause too much outrage and anger at the sport. Me for one would do everything possible let my feelings known. But otherwise im optimistic that this will not effect Kimi's Deserved Championship. Brazil Race - Dream end to a classic season

What a couple of hours! I will tell you how i watched the grand prix. I was in crete in my hotel reception and the race was on after we requested it, it was in greek so I couldn't understand the commentary but it was still crystal clear what was going on. I kept working out the figures and what could effect Kimi's position in the end and just wanted to get a massive ferrari flag and run around the town. (I bought a ferrari flag later in the week!) 1 point seperating 3 drivers! could you ask for more? Perfect end to the season.

I will make a season review soon (After i have caught up of the week of work i missed!) Videos Section Update

Just a note to inform about the Videos section I have tidyed it up, each video is presented in a table like the one you see here, Take a look! Another Note on the videos section, i have mentioned it before and probabily will mention it again ... FOM banning videos from Youtube, another 2 videos are offline (apologies if they have been off quite a while). Hopefully the ones i have got on there now are all free from copyrighted material ... I will be finding some more to add soon from this year hopefully. Other MUST SEE new elements are 2 new wallpapers from the pictures menu and pages on Kimi's latest wins; the China page is especially good! China Race - Kimi still in title race

Kimi wins the Chinese Grand Prix after being first in all but the last Qualifing session (And fastest lap went to Massa). But i don't need to tell you why the title is still a possibility! Lewis's off puts kimi 7 points behind, can the same happen in brazil? Unlikely as that was Hamiltons first retirement this year but you never know, after all this is F1! Unfortunately I am going to miss the race live as i will be in Crete! Despite this i will be thinking of some fresh ideas for the website for winter and keeping everything cross that Kimis China luck continues into Brazil. Post Japan Race - Lewis escapes penalty free

What is it with Mclaren and the FIA this year? A video from the grandstands shown more clearly Hamiltons actions prior to the Webber-Vettel Incident and Lewis was called infront of the FIA to judge wheather it was his fault. He will recieve no punishment after the decision today. Bad news in terms of Championship hopes for Kimi as a points deduction wouldn't have hurt but i think they made the right decision, Ok Lewis was a little off line and braked hard but he cannot control everything and if the crash wouldn't have happened it would have been to his benefit with Kimi having to pass the two cars who aren't in the championship race. Japan Race - Hamiltons title hopes take a big step forward

An eventful Japanese Gp which spent the first 19 laps under a safety car after which Kimi was virtually last due to tyre "issues". Fernandos title could have been ended with an accident and Massa cannot possibly win the 2007 title. As for Kimi even the most optimistic fan would have to say Kimi needs a miracle now with 2 races to go a 17 point gap is near impossible. Kimi would at least need a win and second to even match Lewis's current tally. Belgium Race - Kimi takes 3rd Belguim win

Ferrari 1-2 and Mclaren 3-4 both teams having little problems and not a great deal of action at the front. A few overtaking moves further down the field but not an overly exiting grand Prix. Kimi's Gap to championship lead down to 13 points, 2007 is still winable but luck will need to be on his side. Ferrrari Beauty!

I Just wanted to post this, stunning pic of the ferrari in belgium. really brings out the shade of Red! MCLAREN DISQUALIFIED FROM CONSTRUCTORS

But lewis and fernando's points will be unchanged. So kimi will still have to fight for the title. Mclaren will be appealling this penalty at a later date. This will hand the title to Ferrari, Mclaren previously enjoyed a healthy lead despite there penalty at hungary.

Europe Race - Mclaren take advantage of rain hit grand prix

Disappointing GP in the end for Kimi but still plently of action. The only good thing to come from it is Hamiltons 9th place so kimi is no futher away from the championship lead. Would Kimis Hydralics have failed in the dry? Who knows but this one of if not the unluckest tracks for kimi. The rest of the season looks fairly good, Kimi Having won 4 out of the 7 remaining races before (Spa twice) and Ferrari always do well at Monza. I never saw the end of the quali session so i didn't know about the pole until race day.
F1iceman Wallpaper get on kimistuff homepage!

As i was browsing the normal Kimi websites i come across the new wallpapers articale on kimistuff.com and then thought one looked familiar! My design on kimistuff Homepage! ;)
GB Race - Title Gets even tighter!

2nd race win in a row for Kimi takes him 4 points closer to the front to the championship. Alonso second and podium number 9 for Lewis, Kimi looking much happier now and moves back up to third ahead of massa.
France Race - Ferrari all the way

What a difference the ferrari upgrade has made, Kimi taken Hamilton off the start line then had the pace to cope with massa the rest of the race to take him on the second round of pit stops. Lewis finished 3rd and Alonso 7th after a difficult weekend. Honda scored thier first point of the season, Great final french GP at magny-cours for Kimi. :) Seperate page coming soon
Youtube Videos

As you can see my videos page is looking a little small at the moment as most of the videos i got for youtube have been removed ... blame FOM! Keep F1 on youtube, it gives great insight into the history of the sport and current items
Also i fixed my coding fault on the menu bar, the links opened in a new window the first time. For reference it takes 20 mins to change that menu bar over on every page!
New Site Look

Massive update as all of those who saw my old site can see. This is mainly concerneing the navigation of my site i have put my top menu bar on all my pages for quick access around my site, it taken a while but i think it was worth it. After all this moving there is a lot of tidying up to do etc.
USA Race - Hamilton Wins again

Mclaren beat Ferrari in there usual hunting ground, Lewis taking a surprise pole from alonso in saturday then converting that into race win number 2 on sunday. As for ferrari massa was 3rd the whole race while kimi had another poor start losing 2 places which he gained back after the first stops. It was positive to see that Kimi had the pace to gain on Felipe for the remaining laps even if he didn't overtake.
Canada Race - Lewis avoids chaos to win

Hamilton drove the perfect race up front pulling away when the safety car wasn't infront. Kubica had a massive crash and Massa and Fisichella were disqualified for leaving the pit lane under a red light. Kimi meanwhile found no extra performance from monaco and finished 5th while wurz and heidfeld finished on the podium. Mclaren easily could have had a second 1-2 if Alonso had not run off at turn 1, Ferrari have a gap fill to match mclarens pace.

Is this the cutest Kimi fan Ever?

Monaco Race - A uneventful Mclaren 1-2

The top 3 run from start to finish in that order, no safety cars in monaco for the first time in ages. The only real drama of trhe weekend being Kimis qualifiing mistake costing him a possible podium on race day. He was held up all race by one car or another and finished with a point thats to the 2 Hondas late pit stops. Raikkonen cannot afford to fall any futher behind the championship lead
Spain Race - Massa wins again from the 2 consistant Mclarens

The second victory in a row for Massa puts him closer to the title fight, but the main headline is really that kimi had to retire with mechanical problems when he could have been on the podium. This puts him 10 points behind the lead. Super Aguri also scored there first championship point ever.
Bahrain Race - Massa wins and the title is a 3 way tie

Ferrari and Mclaren started the race from the front. Kimi got taken off the line by alonso who was then holding him up for the first part of the race. Massa held off hamilton to win kimi and heidfeld both overtaken alonso to take 3rd and 4th. Kimi, Lewis and Fenando are now all tied on 22 points a piece with massa on 17. The Ferrari clearly needs to be able to follow cars more closely as weve seen in both malaysia and bahrain kimi struggled to get past the mclarens when they were at a slow point ruining his chance of winning.
Malaysia Race - Mclaren Strike Back!

Mclaren finish 1-2, Kimi just behind nursing his engine from problems in Australia. Massa ended up 5th behind heidfeld after making a mistake while trying to overtake hamilton who overtaken both ferraris at the start which was the most cruical part of the race. If kimi had the break from hamilton he would have finished second but i think the engine was to damaged to produce winning pace today.
Australia Race - KIMI WINS!!

The perfect weekend for Kimi: Pole, Race win and fastest lap by a mile from everyone else, all this in his first weekend for Ferrari. Kimi was followed by the two Mclarens. Massa finished 6th over a minute behind. Refreshing to see Kimi leading the championship only if weve only had one race, aslong as he is leading at the end of Brazil.
