Double R Racing
Formed in 2004 by Kimi Raikkonen and Steve and David Robertson, Double R Racing is involved in Formula 3 and Formula BMW.
F3 Team
Based in Woking in there first season in the top divison of British F3 won one race and 8 podiums. Dan Clarke and Bruno Senna drove for the team finishing in 5th and 10th repectivly. In 2006 Double R Racing took the championship entering 3 drivers; Mike Conway won the title, Bruno Senna in 3rd and Stephan Jelly took 7th overall.
In 2007 Double R's Involvement strenghtened entering 6 drivers. 3 IN the championship class; Stephen Jelley, Jonathan Kennard and Atte Mustonen and 3 in the national class; Alistair Jackson, Albert Costa and Ernesto Otero. Jelly scored the most points and finished the season in 3rd with Kennard in 6th and Mustonen in 7th.
In 2008 Double R Racing have entered 4 Drivers into the British F3 Championship Class, Henry Arundel, John Martin, Alistair Jackson and Atte Mustonen. So far Mustonen is the best of the bunch in 5th and the other three are 14th, 15th and 16th! I cannot comment too much as I having been following the season but i thought i would add this page to inform you all. There is still 6 rounds left in the 2008 season.
